WHAT WE'RE ABOUT:

The Eternal Foundation is a Botswana-based NGO. We exist to preserve, promote, and advocate for the liberty of conscience, the right to natural health, and the sustainable maintenance of natural ecosystems that support all life (environmental stewardship).

The Foundation's goals, projects and initiatives are aligned with several key national strategies, policies and goals, such as the National Climate Change Strategy, National Sustainable Development Strategy, Botswana Vision 2036, and various sector-specific policies to support the country's progress towards a more sustainable, resilient, and prosperous future.

 

A Brief History

The Liberty of Conscience

The 2019-2022 Covid-19 pandemic ushered in what is possibly the greatest erosion of fundamental human rights and God given liberties since the dark ages of 536AD - 1756AD. In essence, a repeat of a tragic and forgotten history.

Governments, Private Instructions and CSO's alike united to do the never before unthinkable act of compelling the human conscience. Against their will, many people worldwide were compelled and coerced to receive/ undergo medical procedures that they otherwise would have never accept.

The public health, and socio-economic consequences of such actions remain to this day. From significant loss of trust in public health institutions, governments and leadership, to irrecoverable economic losses and more. Out of this confusing and frustrating period of overbearing identity politics, natural health subversion, gender wars, and climate debates, the Eternal Foundation rose as a final efforr to arrest movements seeking to undermine the human liberty of conscience in the name of "peace and safety".

The Liberty of conscience refers to the freedom to hold and practice one's own beliefs, values, and convictions without coercion or external compulsion. It encompasses the right to follow one's religious or philosophical beliefs, make moral choices, and express one's thoughts and opinions freely. This concept is fundamental in republics, and/or democratic societies, and is often associated with religious freedom, freedom of thought, and freedom of expression. It allows individuals to live in accordance with their deepest convictions about right and wrong, faith, and ethics, as long as they do not infringe upon the rights of others.

We act to advocate for, promote, and protect our Prime Directive specific priorities through education, capacity building, active participation, projects leadership, and the support of groups, projects, work, and activities that further this directive and the objects of the foundation.

Next Generation Stewards

We aim to cultivate proactive, caring. environmentally cautious communities and members of society who work to support nature's ecological progression and regenerative ability. This includes advocating for the development, nurture, and protection of self-sufficient private, community, or public organic food and resource forests, urban or rural gardens, greenhouse facilities, backyard gardens, homesteads, farms, sanitarians, lifestyle centers, and the sustainable, efficient use of private/ public agro-pastoral lands.

Objects At A Glance

To further our objectives, we engage in scientific research, fact finding/ gathering missions, forecasting andknowledge sharing through surveys, workshops, public lectures, dialogue, and debate on relevant subject matters. We also participate in community and capacity-building projects that support our aims and help improve community moral standards. To this end, the foundation produces/ authors, records, streams, and broadcasts audio-visual and print media content that support and promote these elements.

Our Method Explained

The Permaculture/ Country-Living Connection

What does the liberty of conscience, Natural Health, and environmental stewardship all have to do with human development? We explain all of this in such simple ways that results in our audience and beneficiaries understanding the complex carbon pathways of ecosystems. Most importantly, we capacitate them on - how to design regenerative landscapes and ecosystems such that they benefit us (through health, nutrition, and economy) and the environment at the same time (sustainability). We help everyone to see the personal benefit to them creating a healthier and biodiverse environment to conserve nature and human health.
